For the second time in three years, the waterproof T-Series of Y-Circ P push-pull circular connectors from Yamaichi Electronics has won the title of “Product of the Year” in a readers’ poll conducted by the electronics trade press. The renewed award by the trade public underlines the excellent acceptance of the T-Series in the market. The reliable waterproofness (protection rating IP68) at 5,000 mating cycles and the simple assembly are convincing.
With the T-Series, Yamaichi Electronics has developed a connector with a robust locking system that meets complex requirements and still offers all the advantages of a push-pull connector, such as 5,000 mating cycles with reliable waterproofness.
The successfully launched T-Series offers protection against permanent submersion in water and is available in four sizes (outer diameter 9 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm). All connectors have been tested and qualified in the in-house laboratory for 48h at 1m water depth and thus comply with protection rating IP68.
The design includes the patented cable sealing collet. The cable seal and collet are reduced to just one part. This enables simple, fast and error-free assembly. Together with the long service life, the connector series has considerable savings potential.
Different standard pin patterns are available for all sizes. Customer-specific pin patterns can be realised quickly and flexibly.
The online configurator helps with the correct combination and generates the appropriate type number for the user for easy ordering.
